Answer: (A)
Solution
Silver ore is concentrated by leaching: the metal dissolves in dilute sodium cyanide as and is afterwards displaced by zinc. The blast furnace reduces iron ore with carbon monoxide and coke and delivers pig iron at its base. Blister copper is the metal drawn from the reverberatory furnace stage of copper extraction, the blisters being that escapes as the copper solidifies. Froth flotation concentrates sulphide ores, whose surfaces are wetted by the collector oil and carried up in the froth while the gangue is wetted by water and sinks. The match is silver ore with cyanide leaching, blast furnace with pig iron, blister copper with the reverberatory furnace and froth flotation with sulphide ores.
