How does the conductance of a semi-conducting material change with rise of temperature?

Answer: The conductance increases with rise of temperature.

Solution

With rising temperature, thermal breaking of covalent bonds produces more free electrons and holes.
The increased carrier concentration raises the conductivity, and hence the conductance, of the material.
