Hz (GHz). Use: RADAR systems and satellite/aircraft communication.
(ii) Ultraviolet rays - frequency of the order of

Hz. Use: to detect invisible writing, forged documents and finger prints (and for sterilisation).
(iii) Gamma rays - frequency of the order of

Hz. Use: in the treatment of cancer (radiotherapy).
