The correct match between Item-I and Item-II is:

Item-I
(a) Natural rubber
(b) Neoprene
(c) Buna-N
(d) Buna-S

Item-II
(I) 1, 3-butadiene + styrene
(II) 1, 3-butadiene + acrylonitrile
(III) Chloroprene
(IV) Isoprene

Answer: A → IV, B → III, C → II, D → I

Solution

Natural rubber is the polymer of isoprene (2-methyl-1,3-butadiene). Neoprene is the polymer of chloroprene (2-chloro-1,3-butadiene). Buna-N is the copolymer of 1,3-butadiene with acrylonitrile, and Buna-S is the copolymer of 1,3-butadiene with styrene. So natural rubber goes with isoprene, neoprene with chloroprene, Buna-N with butadiene and acrylonitrile, and Buna-S with butadiene and styrene.
